Today, Santa Claus visited Podgorica airport, met the youngest passengers and distributed gifts to them.
According to the PR-manager of Montenegro Airports, Milica Babic, this way they wanted to surprise and please the youngest passengers who arrived in Montenegro or departing from the country.
“All passengers deserve this little holiday, because thanks to them we will remember 2018 as one of the most successful in the history of Podgorica airport,” said Milica Babic. She also recalled that during 2018, in Montenegro airports: Tivat and Podgorica, more than 2,445,000 passengers were served, which is currently a record figure.
“Compared to the two previous years, this year 600,000 more passengers passed through our airports, and another 30 destinations across Europe were added. This is an indicator of how much we work on air travel and an increase in passenger traffic to the country, which is one of the key factors for improving the entire economy of Montenegro,” added M. Babich.
