In Montenegro started the parliamentary elections - will take part in three coalition of 14 parties.
Montenegro started the Assembly elections (Parliament). Polling stations opened at 07:00 local time (08:00 GMT). For the 81 seats in the Executive body will fight the representatives of the three coalition of 14 parties. The main favourite in this election is a Democratic socialist party, which controls the Pro-American politician Milo Djukanovic. Surveys of public opinion showed that DSS will receive approximately 40% of the vote. However, this may not be enough to form a government. The main opponent of the Democratic party of socialists, the centre – right coalition of the "Democratic front". Its leader Andriy Mandic promised that in case his party wins will be abolished anti-Russian sanctions, imposed by the current government....
The right to vote is about 530 thousand inhabitants of Montenegro. We add that previous elections to the Parliament of Montenegro was held on 14 October 2012. The current parliamentary elections are the tenth of the account since the introduction of multiparty system in the country and fourth in the independent Montenegro. The Assembly consists of 81 deputies. Parliamentarians are elected for four years by direct, universal and secret ballot.
