NGO “Centar za demokratsku tranziciju” declares that took place yesterday in the parliamentary elections of Montenegro Democratic party of socialists received (DPS) 41.1% of the votes or 35 seats in the Assembly (from 81%) and its main rival, the Democratic front, got 20.6 per cent or 18 seats in Parliament. A large coalition of “Key” and “Democrats” Alex Bachicha get 9 seats in the Assembly, or 10.7% of the vote. The social democratic party received 5.4 votes (4 seats), Party of the Bosniaks and 3.3% (2), “the Social Democrats” Ivan Brayovich and 3.2% (2) national party of Croats, the “Croatian civil initiative” received 0.5% or 1 mandate. The coalition of Albanian parties received 0.9 percent of the vote and one seat.
According to the results, the Democratic party of socialists got a majority in the Assembly and will be forced to form a coalition with other parties to implement its decisions.
