According to the Montenegrin statistical agency MONSTAT, in December 2018 the total cost of the minimum consumer basket in Montenegro was 635.8 euros.
Of the total value of the minimum consumer basket, food and non-alcoholic beverages were valued at 260 euros, while non-food items and services were worth 375.7 euros.
“The total cost of the minimum consumer basket in December 2018 fell by 0.7% compared to November 2018. The cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages in December 2018 decreased by 0.5% compared to the previous month, while the cost of non-food products and services decreased by 0.8% compared to November 2018,” the report said.
