By the beginning of the summer tourist season, the Municipal Housing Secretariat of the Budva Municipality is implementing a rather significant project for residents and guests of Montenegro, which will increase the safety of all road users on Becici Boulevard, the RTV Budva news portal reports.
In particular, in cooperation with the traffic police of Budva, in several places of the boulevard in the Becici area speed radars will be installed. The thing is that this section of the route is marked by the authorities of the city of Budva as unfavorable, on which every year quite often, especially in the summer tourist season, there are cases of major accidents.
“We will install automatic radar devices on the road, which will record both vehicle registration numbers and the speeding of all road users who drive a car is irresponsible and dangerous to others. We have already established good contacts with the traffic police of Montenegro and we hope that we will implement this project before the beginning of the summer season,” said Aleksandar Popovic, Assistant Head of the Secretariat for Municipal Housing Affairs of the Budva Municipality.
