In the list of the healthiest nations of the world, Spain came out on top, while Montenegro ranks 41st out of 169 countries of the world.
According to the Bloomberg index, Italy ranks second in the table of the healthiest countries in the world, Iceland is in third place, Japan is in fourth place, and Switzerland closes the top five, according to the Serbian state news agency Tanjug.
As for the former Yugoslav republics, the healthiest of them are Slovenes, who took 24th place, Croatia - 31st place, Montenegro is located on 41st place, Bosnia and Herzegovina is 42nd place, Serbia - 55th and Macedonia ranks 56th out of 169 on the list of the healthiest nations in the world.
The Bloomberg index is determined on the basis of a state’s life expectancy, obesity, tobacco use, sanitation, environmental factors, such as access to clean water, etc.
According to the forecasts of the Department of Measurement and Evaluation of the Health of People from the University of Washington, by 2040 Spain will have the longest life expectancy - almost 86 years, after which Japan, Singapore and Switzerland will be located.
