Residents of the town of Zabljak, who are against tree cutting in Durmitor National Park, planted 50 new seedlings near Black Lake.

As reported on the Facebook page “Save the Black Lake - the pearl of Montenegro”, this voluntary action of reforestation in the National Park Durmitor was organized by the non-governmental organization “Friends of Durmitor and Tara”.

“Today, in the area of ​​the Black Lake in the place where 40 trees were previously cut down, we planted 50 new seedlings. Every day we are active, and at the end of the week, our friends from different parts of the world will come to our support. Every day there are more and more of us,” the statement of the NGO Society of Friends of Durmitor and Tara said in a statement.
