The Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Montenegro reported that on the occasion of the upcoming public holiday - Montenegrin Independence Day, non-working days will be Tuesday, May 21, and Wednesday, May 22.
“State and local self-government bodies, state institutions and companies, as well as other enterprises and organizations engaged in social activities, are obliged to ensure their work on public holidays in the event that termination of work will not have adverse and harmful consequences for citizens or the state in these days,” the statement said.
Recall that Montenegro celebrates Independence Day every year, on May 21, since it was on this day 13 years ago that it acquired state independence in a referendum.
