Discos and nightclubs Maltez, Trocadero, Ambiente, Paris, Raffaello and Miami, as well as fast food outlets, shops and stalls located on the waterfront in the post office area (red zone) in the popular resort town of Budva will remain in place this season and will work until October 1, the newspaper Primorske novine writes.
The Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism of Montenegro officially published on its website amendments to its program for the demolition of temporary buildings located in the coastal "red zone". In these amendments, these 13 temporary buildings and structures located on the embankment of Budva will be “left” only for this summer.
The deadline for the operation of these objects is October 1, 2019, and by October 31 they must be completely dismantled and removed from the Budva embankment.
In addition, the Ministry of Sustainable Development of Montenegro presented the conditions for discos to remain on the embankment and continue to work this summer - they must “retreat” from the boardwalk (walkway) by five meters and install sound barriers to a maximum of 65 decibels. Also, all tenants in the red zone must make a bank guarantee or deposit in the amount corresponding to the cost of demolishing their property.
