According to the meteorologists of Montenegro, May 2019 was the coldest (among the months of May) in the last 27 years, during which the average temperature was 22 degrees Celsius.
According to the meteorologist Branca Mitsev, cloudy and rainy weather will continue in Montenegro in the following days, and the improvement and stabilization of weather conditions are not expected until June 6 in the south of the country and until June 10 in the northern regions of Montenegro. He also recalled that the air temperature in the last days of May last year exceeded 31°C. Commenting on the fact that it rains almost every day this year in May, he said that it was just as rainy in previous years.
The reason for the unusually unstable, rainy and cold weather for the last spring month, as Branca Mitsev explains, is the prolonged activity of stationary cyclones in the Mediterranean region.
