Today, one of the “greenest” cruise liners in the world, the Main Schiff 6, sailed to the Montenegrin port of Kotor. On the occasion of the first visit to the Bay of Kotor and Kotor port by the legendary cruise ship “Mein Schiff 6” of the German company TUIO Cruises, a delegation consisting of representatives of various organizations arrived at the port of Kotor: the company “Allegra” from the city of Bar, which is the port agent of the company TUI in Montenegro, Kotor Tourism Organization and other companies engaged in maritime activities.

The cruise ship “Main Schiff 6”, with a total weight of 99.7 thousand tons, anchored at position No. 2 in front of the village of Dobrota, delivered to Kotor more than 2,000 German tourists.

The “Mein Schiff 6” liner (translated from the German “My Ship”), built in Finland two years ago, is the latest in a series of four twin ships of the “Blue Motion” class, which are located at the STX Finland Turku shipyard and were created by request of the company TUI Cruises. The ship has a length of 294 meters, a width of 36 meters and a track width of just over 8 meters. Its maximum capacity is 2500 passengers, which are cared for by approximately 1000 crew members, and it specializes in the German market. “Mein Schiff 6” with its older twin brothers, some of them had previously visited the port of Kotor, is one of the cleanest (“green”) liners in the world.
