In May, Roman mosaics, which are located in the Montenegrin resort town of Risan, were visited by 5.27 thousand visitors, which is 3% more than the same period last year.
The coordinator of cultural projects and historical sites from the Tourist Organization (TO) of Kotor, Emilia Radulovich, said that in total from the beginning of this year to the end of May, 8.55 thousand people visited Risan mosaics, which is 3% more than for the same the period of 2018.
“Of the total number of visits, 15% were individual, while group excursions amounted to 85%,” said E. Radulovich on Radio Kotor.
As for the statistics of the countries from which visitors of Roman mosaics come, most of the tourists were from the United States of America (USA), while the least historical monuments of Montenegro were visited by guests from France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and Germany.
