Action on cleaning the coast and beaches in the Trašte bay

June 9, 2019 Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) "Our Action" plans to celebrate World Environment Day, as well as World Ocean Day, with several environmental actions to clean up the coast in the municipalities of Tivat and Herceg Novi. The beaches and swimming spots to be cleaned are located in the Trašte bay, in the Bay of Kotor - Oblatno district, part of the municipalities of Tivat and Herceg Novi.
During these environmental campaigns, the organizers, together with volunteers from all over Montenegro, plan to clean the coastal part of the Bay of Kotor, clean up rubbish along the roads, and clean the main beaches and swimming places in the Trašte bay with young volunteers from all over Montenegro. Volunteers from the organization Zero Waste Montenegro, volunteers from the company Montenegro, as well as the organization “Don't throw the bottles” (“Ne Bacajte boce”), which is already recognized for its environmental activities in Herceg Novi, will also take part in the actions.
"We urge the residents and guests of Montenegro to contribute and participate in such environmental actions to clean up the coast of the country", - reported from the NGO "Our action".
The action is scheduled this Sunday, June 9, starting at 9 am and will last until 2 pm with breaks for rest and restoration of volunteers.
