In the Old town of Bar, a car parking for 52 cars is arranged

The municipality of Bar has completed part of the construction and arrangement of car parking in the Old City of Bar, on the territory of which a total of 52 parking spaces for passenger cars were arranged.
As reported in the municipality of Bar, the stop for regular public transport, as well as parking for tourist buses and taxis, which were previously located in this area, will be moved to other places nearby.
During the summer tourist season, the Old Town of Bar is visited by a huge number of tourists from all over Montenegro, which is why it is almost impossible to park a car near this historic landmark. Moreover, illegal parkings are flourishing near the Old Town, which operate without cash registers and, in fact, do not provide vehicle safety and do not pay taxes. Thanks to this car parking, the authorities of the city of Bar are trying to solve the problem of lack of parking spaces and illegal collection of money from motorists.
It is also reported that in the future, parking near the Old Town Bar may be paid.
