The Montenegrin government plans to abandon the concept of Ada Bojana island (near Ulcinj) as a nudist center and, through valorization, provide for a long-term lease a part of the island where villas and other residential buildings will be built, according to unofficial news portal Vijesti.

In February this year, the Government of Montenegro adopted the Privatization Plan for this year and, according to the newspaper Vijesti, the authorities plan that in the future Ada Bojana island will not be exclusively a nudist center and that one part of the island, whose total area is 522 hectares, will transformed into a residential area.
