Over the next week, at the invitation of the URA Civil Movement, a delegation of the European Green Party (European Greens) will pay a working visit to Montenegro.
“The European Greens delegation will spend five days in Montenegro, and the terms of cooperation between the URA Civil Movement and the Green Europe Party will be reviewed and agreed upon, which is the first official steps towards a green policy as its clear profile in the future,” the statement said.
“During their five-day visit to Montenegro, the Greens will learn about the acute environmental problems of Montenegro, and will also get acquainted with our most beautiful landscapes and pearls of nature both in the south and in the north of the country. They will be able to see the Tivat Solana, the canyon of the Tara River, the Durmitor and Black Lake National Park, Biogradska Gora National Park and the lake of the same name, Lovcen National Park and many other green places of Montenegro. Thus, the green delegation will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the environmental problems of Montenegro, ecosystem disturbances, problems of small hydroelectric power stations and much more,” the URA Civil Movement said in a statement.
They said that the Greens will also meet with environmental NGOs and civic activists who will talk about their activities in Montenegro and the efforts and actions that they are taking to protect and save the nature of Montenegro.
