According to the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), in the first half of 2019, the number of international tourist trips around the world increased by 4% compared to last year, or by almost 30 million people, to 671 million.
In addition, as reported by UNVTO, this year the number of foreign tourists visiting various European countries increased by four percent compared to the same period last year, while in Africa and America the growth of travelers was more moderate, by 3% and 2 , respectively, than for the same period last year. Regarding the increase in visits by foreign travelers to the Asia-Pacific region by 6 compared with the first half of last year, the World Tourism Organization claims that this figure is above the world average for this period and is mainly supported by the travel of Chinese tourists.
It is also worth noting that among all countries of the world, tourists from China have retained first place this year, the number of trips abroad amounted to 14% of the total number of tourists.
