Yesterday, work continued on the restoration of dendroflora in the Big City Park of Tivat in order to improve the general condition of this protected natural site of Montenegro.
The Department of Spatial Planning and Sustainable Development of the Tivat Municipality, in cooperation with the municipal utility of the city, yesterday planted about 40 seedlings of ornamental trees and shrubs in the city park, namely those species that are already represented in this park. Pupils of the Mladost school from Tivat, who at that time had a lesson in natural science from the optional course Ecology and Environmental Protection, also joined this campaign for landscaping the city park.
Thus, the municipality of Tivat joined the celebration of the 28th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration on the Environmental Status of Montenegro, organized by the General Secretariat of the Government of Montenegro and the Union of Montenegrin Municipalities.
