According to Forbes magazine, the city of Kotor was included in the list of TOP-20 best tourist destinations to visit in 2020, taking 13th place.
"Why? Montenegro, the hidden treasure of the Adriatic, is becoming an increasingly attractive Mediterranean tourist destination and is no longer considered as a poor neighbor of Croatia, ”Forbes said in a statement.
“Montenegro’s most luxurious hotel, Aman Sveti Stefan, has raised the scale of Montenegrin catering to a higher level, and the Marriott International hotel chain has just announced that it will introduce the Ritz-Carlton brand in Montenegro in 2023,” Forbes notes.
The magazine reports that all active travelers who love hiking and adventure, as well as couples who want relaxation and privacy, should visit Montenegro next year.
The first place on the Forbes list is the city of Amangiri in Arizona, followed by Palermo in Italy and Cape Town in South Africa.
