Montenegro's Open Joint-Stock Company for the Management of Marine Property, JP Morsko Dobro, has begun work on the improvement and paving of the existing pedestrian walkway, which runs along the coast at Jaz Beach near Budva.

The new footpath will be 380 meters long, 5 to 6 meters wide and will run from the beach of the Poseidon Hotel to the Kunzic family home.

“It is planned that the footpath will be paved with prefabricated concrete tiles of terracotta color with baseboards and willow strips. As part of the Jaz Beach Embankment improvement program, the existing coastal wall and pedestrian crossing (seating benches and garbage cans) will be reconstructed, barriers will be installed to prevent vehicles from entering the beach, and the park will also be improved along the hiking trail. Currently, ground works are being carried out and excess concrete surfaces are being removed from the sidewalk, while the installation of a water supply and telecommunication network is being carried out in parallel,” says JP Morsko dobro.

The contractor is Incom from Podgorica, and the completion date for all work is February 2020. 150,000 euros have been allocated for the reconstruction of the footpath.
