Yesterday at a meeting, the Kotor Municipality Assembly decided that it is possible to begin construction of an underground pedestrian crossing, which will take place under the highway from the seaport of Kotor towards the old town of Kotor.
A comlex project for the construction of an underground pedestrian crossing, worth about 1.4 million euros, will be implemented within four months.
An underground passage project from Europrojekt from Podgorica was presented in the building of Kotor Municipality, and the contractor will be Briv Construction.
Europrojekt’s chief designer, Dragutin Dubljević, said that every detail was taken into account during the preparation of this project - lighting, the use of high-quality materials, equipping stairs with elevators and the latest technologies for people with disabilities to use the passage.
