According to the mayor’s office of Budva, next year in the town of Braici, on the site of today's landfill, a new public space will be organized, namely a green picnic area with panoramic views of the Budva Riviera. The city authorities decided to close this landfill after repeated protests by residents of the municipality.
Garbage collection to the landfill in Braici will continue until the end of January 2020, after which it will be turned into a green oasis with magnificent views of the Budva Riviera. This place can be another popular excursion destination with tourists vacationing in Montenegro.
