Over the next two years, one of the largest solar power plants in Europe will be built in Montenegro, according to the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro. This project is planned to be implemented in the town of Briska Gora, near the city of Ulcinj, and the capacity of the solar power plant will be about 250 MW.
The cost of building a solar power plant will be about 200 million euros, said the Minister of Economy of Montenegro, Dragitsa Sekulic. The first phase of construction will begin next year, and it is planned to launch the power plant in May 2021.
