The authorities of the city of Podgorica began a phased closure of traffic in the center of the capital of Montenegro.
Starting from December 28, 2019, Bokeshka Street will be completely blocked for cars and other means of transportation - from Stank Dragoevich Boulevard to Njegosheva Street. The exception will be only cars delivering food and goods to cafes, restaurants and shops located on this street. Access for these vehicles will be allowed from 6:00 to 10:00 in the morning.
Bokeshka Street is quite popular with both locals and tourists because of all kinds of cafes, restaurants and shops located here. The closing of Bokeshka street is the first stage in the formation of a new look for the central pedestrian part of the capital of Montenegro - the city of Podgorica.
