The year is gradually coming to the end, and talks about the "Oscar" can be heard more often. In the field of animated films, there is a very high level of competition. This year, a record number of cartoons claim for the prize.
As stated on the official website, the list includes 27 cartoons that have fulfilled the necessary conditions, of which only five will be nominated. The premiere of most of these cartoons has already taken place, and some are still preparing for their release.

89th award ceremony "Oscar" will be held on 26 February, 2017 in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
