Yandex has launched an online map of spreading of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus in the world.
As noted in the description, the list and map provide relevant data on confirmed cases of infection, recovery and death in different countries of the world. It is also reported that in compiling this map, the company relied on data provided by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Johns Hopkins University in the USA.
The map, which is part of Yandex.Map, separately reflects the appearance of new cases of virus infection and the total number of infections in the regions of Russia and other countries of the world, writes Gazeta.ru.
Recall that the outbreak of COVID-19 pneumonia caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus was first recorded in the Chinese city of Wuhan at the end of December 2019. Currently, the disease caused by the new coronavirus has spread to more than 120 countries and was recognized as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020.
