Woman is attested for spreading misinformation about coronavirus in Montenegro

According to police in Tivat, over the weekend they arrested a Russian-speaking woman for spreading misinformation about coronavirus on social networks. It is noted that a woman (35 years old), through her posts and comments in various groups in social networks, sowed panic and contributed to the organization of unrest. At the moment, she is suspected of committing a criminal offense.

According to police, she published on Facebook information that in Montenegro about a thousand people have already taken on a new coronavirus infection, of which six have died. Also, according to her, in Montenegro the same scenario for the spread of coronavirus is expected as in Italy. In addition, she claimed that employees of the Avala Hotel in Budva had already been infected and hospitalized.

According to official data, in Montenegro, an infection was detected in 22 people, one of whom, a man from Herceg Novi, died.
