The Tivat City Museum and Gallery, which, like other public institutions of Montenegrin culture and sports, was closed to visitors, organized a virtual exhibition of photographs “Through the Eye of a Tivat Resident” (“Okom Tivćana”).
Thanks to this project, the Tivat Museum has joined the national campaign “Let's Live in Culture, #ostanidoma”, which the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro launched in the country with the goal of providing free cultural and artistic content to Montenegrin citizens during social isolation days.
“The traditional photo exhibition“ Eye of Tivchanin ” was held four times in the gallery JU Muzej i galerija Tivat. The exhibitors are professionals and amateurs who are connected by a love of photography. Only from the love that the photographer transmits through the camera’s lens, the world can be depicted not only differently, but also a true and accurate view of what was photographed is conveyed. The photographs presented at the exhibition show the sights of Tivat, the culture, traditions, customs and life of its residents, the natural beauty of our spa town, as well as modern everyday life, ”representatives of the Tivat Museum said.
