From today, as part of measures to fight the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19, Montenegrin authorities have imposed a ban on fishing throughout the country.
This Decision prohibits any kind of fishing in the open sea, lake or small river from a boat, from the shore for any kind of equipment, and underwater fishing is also prohibited. So far, only commercial fishing is allowed in Montenegro.
As noted in the Montenegro Sport Fisheries Association, violators will be punished by law.
