Soon, a modern winter ski center will be built in the north-east of Montenegro. It is reported that a new ski resort will appear in the municipality of Rozaje, on Mount Hajla, at an altitude of 2403 meters above sea level. It is also known that a six-seat cableway will be installed on the territory of the center.
At the moment, there is an agreement on the general concept of this project in local and state architectural departments. After the approval of the project, an open tender “Design and Build” will be announced. According to preliminary estimates, the construction cost of the ski center of Rozaje will be about 2 million euros.
The total area of the winter resort, together with a recreation area, restaurant, rental and other services for vacationers will be about 2000 square meters.
Note that this area belongs to the Prokletije mountain range, and many peaks of the Hajla massif reach a height of more than 2000 meters.
