Morsko dobro: continuation of construction of the Jaz embankment planned for autumn

The organization JP Morsko dobro, which manages the coast of Montenegro, has received the consent of the chief architect of the city of Budva to develop a preliminary project to continue the construction and reconstruction of the promenade on the beach of Jaz.
Currently, the main project for the reconstruction of the Jaz beach embankment is being developed, after which an open tender will be held for the selection of contractors, announced by the state-owned marine management company of Montenegro, JP Morsko dobro, and also noted that the Plan for the use of funds from the budget for 2020 provides allocation of 208,000 euros for construction work. Thus, if the tender procedure is successful, then the continuation of the construction of the embankment on Jaz Beach can be expected this fall.
“Recall that the paving of the footpath along the Budva Jaz beach and the reconstruction of the promenade (first phase) were fully completed at the end of March this year. The length of the embankment, reconstructed in the first stage, is 380 meters. Also, the new pedestrian walkway was equipped with public lighting poles, LED boardwalk and beach lighting, park benches, and pine trees were planted along the sidewalk. The company invested 162,000 euros in the first stage of reconstruction of the embankment, ”said JP Morsko dobro.
