Last week, Montenegro began gradually remove some of the restrictions previously introduced to fight the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in the country. From today in Montenegro hotels, inns, catering establishments - restaurants, cafes, etc., as well as many beaches and places for swimming will resume their work.
According to the local information portal Vijesti, at present the situation with coronavirus has stabilized in Montenegro and does not cause concern among the authorities.
It is also assumed that if the epidemiological situation in the country does not change for the worse, then in early June Montenegro will open its borders to neighboring states, which will have a similar situation in the fight against the pandemic. After this, it will be possible to speak about the resumption of international air connection with more distant countries. It is reported that all citizens and tourists arriving in Montenegro will be tested for COVID-19.
