The Institute of public health of Montenegro (IOH) has registered 59 new cases of Covid-19 coronavirus infection. As it was announced, the majority of patients are residents of Podgorica, namely, 30 people. Two deaths due to coronavirus have also been reported.
New cases of infection were confirmed in Beran (5), Budva (4), Niksic (4), Cetinje (3), pljevla (3), Tivat (3), Ulcinj (3), Herceg Novi (2), Gusinje and Danilovgrad (1).
"Over the past 24 hours, the laboratories Of the Institute of public health of Montenegro have completed the analysis of 565 samples for the presence of coronavirus, among which 59 were positive," the IOZ said in a statement.
Since the beginning of June, the total number of registered cases of Covid-19 coronavirus infection in Montenegro is 695 people, of which 10 were fatal. Currently, the number of active infected is 680 people.
