According to information received from the portal "Pobjeda", the night train Belgrade - Bar will be abolished from 1 December to 15 July of the next year, by the decision of "Srbija voz" company. This company has decided to leave only the day train Belgrade - Bar - Belgrade.
The portal reports, that the Serbian railway company decided to take this step because of the works on upgrading the site Resnik and Vreoci on the railway Belgrade - Bar.
Unfortunately, the company does not currently have sufficient resources to implement the movement of two trains. The problem of the company is also the fact, that the costs of "Srbija voz" during the reconstruction of the railway are increased since the company has to organize a bus transfer for passengers from Lajkovac.
