Reconstruction works of the Mekavac tunnel will be completed by the end of May.
The tunnel is being built by all standards, and at the final stage of reconstruction will be fully illuminated. This is the first tunnel with three lanes in Montenegro.
The guide to the construction of the tunnel explained that it is difficult to carry out work on the reconstruction of roads while movement is allowed. Violation of the traffic light signal also complicates the work and threatens the safety of employees working in the tunnel. To solve these problems, the police help was needed.
At present, four construction sites are on the way Cetinje-Budva. Two from Cetinje to Obzovic, one on the site from Lapčići lj Brajići, Košljun-Zavala and on the outskirts of Budva to Cetinje.
