Withing the framework of main ecological holidays - the International Day for Biological Diversity and the European Day of Parks, on 22 and 24 May, the entrance to the national parks Durmitor, Biogradska Gora, Lovcen, Skadar Lake and Prokletie will be free.
"National Parks of Montenegro" invite all nature lovers and cyclists to take advantage of the opportunity to visit parks for free these days.
Guests of the parks will be able to spend pleasant time in protected natural areas, visit information centers, as well as pedestrian and educational routes, including the route around the Black and Biogradsko lakes.
The celebration of the European Day of Parks is scheduled for Sunday, 28 May in Podgorica on Independence Square.
The organizers of the holiday are the "National Parks of Montenegro", the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and UNDP, the Environmental Protection Agency and the Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology.
The main themes of the holiday are the importance of preserving parks and the consequences of climate change.
