A new cruise season with the arrival of the cruise ship "Thomson Spirit" with about 1.2 thousand English tourists has started in Bar.
Director of Allegra Montenegro, Mihailo Vukić, commented on the following: "The advantage of the Bar Riviera is in its numerous natural beauties, cultural and historical monuments, the contrast of the sea and lakes". Bar does not have high passability of passenger liners, like Kotor, but tourists can easily get to the nearby towns - Budva, Podgorica, Ostrog monastery".
He also told about the beginning of negotiations on concluding agreements with other world companies, first of all with Italian partners, who would open the Bar-Bari-Durres line, and in July and August the route Dubrovnik-Budva is expected to be established.
The travelers were greeted wih welcoming speeches of the head of the Parliament of the city of Bar - Radomir Novakovich and the deputy of city administration - Sanela Lichina.
