Every summer, except tourists in Budva come pickpockets and petty thieves, whose victims are mostly vacationers on the beach.
The police of Budva have arrested two citizens of Serbia - Milan Borkovich (24 years) from Aleksinets and his girlfriend Katarina Velickovic (25 years old) from Niš, who are suspected of committing five thefts on the beach of "Slovenska Plaza" in Budva.
A guy and a girl were unofficially arrested when they attempted to steal personal belongings and bags from the beach while tourists were swimming in the sea. This couple was supposedly on vacation in Budva and because of a lack of money to extend the rest, they were engaged in daily theft. The inspectors of the police in Budva have evidence that the couple committed five thefts. They were detained at the police station and were brought to the main state prosecutor in Kotor yesterday.
Last month, the police of Budva arrested five citizens from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina who came to rest in Budva and engaged in theft on beaches, apartments and private houses.
