From the sale of tickets for the entrance to the city walls of Kotor from 12 April to 23 August of this year, an income of 384 879 euros was received.
According to information received from the municipality of Kotor, compared to the same period last year, this year there was a record increase in income by 149,931 euros.
For the sake of comparison, last year, from the sale of tickets for visiting the city walls, the Office for the improvement and construction of the city of Kotor received an income of 363 201 euros, which is 21,678 euros less than for four and a half months this year.
The municipality of the city plans to take all necessary measures to raise the level of income. By the end of 2017, a modern electronic system for payment and control of the entrance to the city walls, CCTV cameras and sensor counters will be put into operation.
