Analysis of the quality of sea water on 100 public beaches on the Montenegrin coast, conducted by the Institute of Biology on 30 and 31 August, showed that the quality of sea water corresponds to the class K1 in 97 places and class K2 in 3 places.
In Ulcinj, on all 16 beaches the water was of K1 quality, the same situation on all 12 beaches in Bar.
In Budva, out of 27 beaches the water quality of class K1 wat at 26 beaches, and on one beach the water quality was of class K2.
In Tivat, water was of class K1 on all 9 beaches, and in Kotor, out of 15 beaches, the 13 have the water of K1 class and two beaches - of K2 class.
On 21 beaches in Herceg Novi, the water was of K1 class.
