The results of the sanitary analysis of sea water quality
From 18th to 20th of July the analysis of the sanitary quality of sea water were carried out at 91 public beach of the Montenegrin coast.
The results showed that in 97.8% the quality of sea water was of class K1 and the K2 class only 2.2%, which means that in the areas of bathing sea water is very clean and safe for swimming and recreation.

Of the14 beaches in Ulcinj, 13 beaches water had quality of class K1 and 1 beach had class K2.
All 10 beaches in Bar, 23 beaches in Budva, 14 beaches in Kotor and 24 beaches in Herceg Novi, included in the monitoring program, the quality of sea water was of class K1.
In Tivat on 9 beaches water quality was of class K1 and only one beach had K2 class.

Repeated analyzes of sea water samples in the vicinity of "Velike Plaze" did not show the presence of bacterial contamination. At the request of the beach visitors as well as local citizens the analysis of sea water quality on beaches "Volat" and "Anderba" in Krasici, Tivat will be held.
