48-year-old resident of the city of Herceg Novi, Nenad Jovanovic
swam along the perimeter of the entire Bay of Kotor. It is worth noting that
during 9 days he overcame 104 kilometers (!!!) of the waterway. He went on a race on the morning of 23 September from the beach near the hotel "Boka" (Herceg Novi) and, circling the bay, finished the swim only on 1 October. On the day he swam about 11 kilometers, spent the night on the beach and then continued his difficult journey again in the morning.
With this unusual swim, Nenad wanted to draw the attention of the Montenegrin authorities and the public to the ecology, the enormous potential and unique opportunities of the Bay of Kotor and the Adriatic Sea, and to show unlimited human opportunities. Nenad Jovanovic is very fond of swimming, he is a professional sportsman and has repeatedly participated in swimming competitions in open water and other similar sports events.
