Airport in Tivat take record million passengers

According to the information portal "Pobjeda", the airport in Tivat for the first time in history will take more than one million passengers per year.
That statement was shared with us by a spokesman of the airline Montenegro Milica Babic, referring to the relevant data, the growth of fixed interest and the number of aircraft and passengers the airport received since the beginning of the year.
"Record for the number of passengers received in the two airports of the country only in the first days of July was recorded.
“The air traffic growth at the airport in Podgorica has increased to 33%, and at the airport Tivat to 24%, " said Babic.
Summing up the first half of the current year, ie, from January 1 to July 10, inclusive, growth in the number of received aircraft at the airport in Podgorica is 9% and 8% in Tivat.
During this period, Airports of Montenegro adopted 603.972 passengers, which is 11% more than the same period last year.
Passenger traffic at the airport of Podgorica has increased of 14% (377.440 passengers, increasing of 47.335 passengers), and the airport Tivat of 6% (291.635 passengers, increasing of 17.768 passengers).
