In order to improve security, Tivat airport and Podgorica airport (Montenegro) received X-ray machines for checking hand luggage. The cost of this scanning equipment was 125,000 euros.
These are two modern X-ray scanners for checking the personal effects of passengers, which meet the most stringent safety standards of the European Civil Aviation Association (EAGA). They are designed to control and verify personal belongings and hand luggage not only of all passengers, but also of other persons and airport employees who may enter the restricted airport access zone.
