The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Srđan Darmanović, on the second day of his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with the Executive Director of the airline "Fly Dubai" Gait Al Gait. At the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the creation of the new Dubai-Sarajevo-Podgorica winter airline, which will be open this year on 1 November.
Montenegrin Foreign Minister, Srdjan Darmanovich noted that the new airline would make a significant positive contribution to the further development of relations and close cooperation between Montenegro and the United Arab Emirates. In addition, the abolition of visas between the countries would allow a huge number of Montenegrin citizens to visit the UAE.
During the meeting, Gait Al-Gait stressed that he was very satisfied with the results of the last Dubai-Tivat airline, which was used by more than 6,000 people in the summer and hopes that the Dubai-Sarajevo-Podgorica airline would also be successful and would benefit both the UAE and Montenegro.
During his visit to the UAE, Srdjan Darmanovich also met with the Montenegrin representative of the Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, Nicholas Alice.
