In Montenegro, the temperature records of October are broken. In the period from 15 to 18 October in the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, an unusually high temperature was recorded, which reached 28.6 degrees Celsius (°C). This is the absolute record of the average daily air temperature in October for the last 68 years.

The director of the Institute of Hydrometeorology and Seismology, Luka Mitrović, said that at the moment the air temperature, on average in Montenegro, is one degree higher than the climatic norm. "The highest deviation from the climatic norm is observed in the Bijelo Pole district, where the average temperature in October is 2.1 degrees Celsius higher," L.Mitrovich said. He also said that until Sundays throughout Montenegro it would be sunny and relatively warm for this time of the year, and already on Monday it would be much colder and cloudy weather with rain in the southern and central regions and snow in the north is expected.
