Roman mosaic in Risan was visited by 40 000 people since the beginning of the year

The Roman mosaic located in Risan (Montenegro) from the 1st January to 19 October, 2017 was visited by 39 265 tourists, which is 2.9% more than the same period last year, when this unique historical site was visited by 38 165 people .
Individual visits to this historical and cultural monument were 20.18% of the total, while group visits are 79.82%, which included participants in seminars, school excursions, as well as visitors who have the right for free admission etc. By means of the program "Kotor Open Tour", which includes a coupon for visiting the Roman mosaic, this landmark was visited by 12,935 people, and with the help of "Montenegro Shorex-a" came 12,946 tourists.
The largest number of tourists who visited the "Roman mosaics", came from Britain, the USA, Italy, Spain, France and Russia.
