The agency for the construction and development of the city of
Podgorica decided instead of reconstructing the existing pedestrian bridge over the Cievna River in the Dinoši area, to build a new one. Such a decision was adopted by the commission in response to numerous complaints and demands of citizens of Montenegro, who repeatedly noticed that the existing pedestrian bridge over the river Cievna turns blue and quite dangerous during rainy periods.
"The new bridge was designed not only for pedestrians, but also for the movement of vehicles in both directions, with a width of the roadway of 3.5 meters. For pedestrians on the bridge there are sidewalks 1.2 meters in width on both sides of the carriageway, as well as fencing, with height of 1.2 meters. The length of the new bridge over the Cievna River is 55 meters. The estimated cost of work is
about 350,000 euros", said in a press release of the contractor.
