Kotor and Tivat celebrate the Day of the Municipality

Today, on 21 November, the Montenegrin resort towns of Kotor and Tivat began celebrating the Municipality Day.
The celebration of the Municipality Day in Kotor began this morning, when city musicians, as usual, walked around the city, after which they organized a reception in the hall of the municipality of Kotor. The chairman of Kotor Municipality, Vladimir Jokić, congratulated all residents and guests of the city on the Day of the Municipality.
At noon on the main square of Kotor will perform an ensemble of the Navy, which will play traditional musical compositions. At 1:00 pm in the hall of the cultural center "Nikola Djurkovic" will begin a solemn session of the Assembly of the Municipality of Kotor. On the occasion of the holiday, representatives of the navy of Montenegro gathered in the city of Risan, and also laid a wreath at the monument to the fallen soldiers.
The program of celebrating the Municipality Day in Kotor will end on Monday, 27 November, with a concert of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra quartet in St. Trifon Cathedral at 8:00 pm.
The day of the municipality in the city of Tivat is celebrated today with a number of events and activities. In the morning, the "Old School" monument was laid with wreaths. In addition, representatives of the navy of Montenegro, near the municipality building, organized a solemn ceremony of transferring the flag, and a parade accompanied by a military orchestra took place along the streets of the city.
