Today, in the town of Podgorica, the Awards Ceremony to individuals and organizations for their excellent work and outstanding contribution to improving the quality of the tourist offer of Montenegro in 2017 - "Wild Beauty Award 2017" was held.
At the 13th annual awards ceremony in the field of tourism "Wild Beauty Awards 2017", which took place at the Hilton Hotel (Podgorica), the winners were awarded six awards and two prizes. The solemn event was organized by the Tourist Organization of Montenegro.
The winners of the contest "Wild Beauty Award 2017" were:
- Hotel Maestral Resort & Casino (Przno, Budva) in the nomination "Best hotel in Montenegro in 2017";
- Hotel Mažestik (Budva) in the nomination "Best Small Hotel in Montenegro in 2017";
- Beach Lučica (Petrovac) in the nomination "The best beach of Montenegro 2017";
- Restaurant "Per Semper" (Podgorica) in the nomination "The best restaurant in Montenegro 2017".
A special award was presented to the Tourist Organization of the city of Bar for active promotion of the tourist offers of Montenegro, and the "Explorer" company received the prize for the best tourist product excursion tour "From Kolasin to Zabljak". Also the awards went to the cultural event "Christmas Eve before Christmas" organized by the non-governmental association "Karampana" and the festival "International Festival of Choirs in Perast" from the Tourist Organization of Kotor.
At the awarding ceremony, the President of Montenegro, Phillip Vujanovic, noted that for nine months of this year the country's revenues in the tourism sector were more than for the whole of last year. "This year is a record year for Montenegro and will be even better next year.We have worked hard to improve the quality of tourist offers, as well as increased the level of infrastructure in tourism and made the rest in Montenegro more affordable," F.Vujanovic said, adding that Over the past five years, 100 hotels and hotels of various categories have been built in Montenegro.
